ICE ICE BABY TOO COLD TOO COLD

Today, ice came into the bay in Flat Rock from the Arctic. When we woke up and looked outside, it looked as though the entire ocean had frozen over. Apparently it only happens every 12 years when the tides and wind are just right.

We hiked down into Shoe Cove, a beautiful little inlet right off the ocean, and there was one huge piece of ice, blue and translucent. We had to hike in the a second time just so Peg could take her camera.

You would never know it was April to look outside.

Word to yo' motha.
