Clearly I haven't been doing as well at this keeping up with writing stuff. But at least i'm trying! Peggy's friend Rita was in town for the last month, and we had some fun adventures. Like the picture above, where Peggy and Rita actually barbequed cactus. Yup. And they actually bought it in a store! Ah, the adventures of Arizona. It didn't taste very good though. One weekend we went to Los Angeles to see the wonderful Robyn play. Some of you may remember her from her "Show me Love" days of yore. Now she's amazing. For example:
thats Rita and Peg when we went to Tucson and bar-hopped. Hilarity ensued.Below is the nuclear bomb at the Titan missile museum south of Tucson. This would have hit an unknown target in Russia or something around there if it had been launched during the cold war. Peg's been here twice now because in school she always learned about the "red button" the americans were going to push to destroy them in East Germany. The museum validated that...
They also didn't really use the opportunity to educate about the danger or massive destructive power of nuclear weapons (except in a positive way-the guide said "This missile is 60,000 times more powerful than the bomb we dropped on Hiroshima. Quite a kick!")

Plus some gratuitous cat photos. Cause I can't resist...
This is our adoptive cat Barbie. Or our foster cat whatever you want to call her that means she doesn't actually belong to us, but she never leaves. shes so CUTE!!
ok, back to work...
