When we arrived at the lovely Nancy Coyle's in Thunder Bay, she informed us that her parents were currently on their island 20 minutes away and that we were invited for the night. it was FANTASTIC! We were so lucky, I can't even begin to describe it, from being paddled out, to another perfect evening and new day, complete with strong coffee and oatmeal, not to mention hot water and a comfortable bed. What a great respite from an, albeit mild, drive. thanks!
